Working principle of double-shaft shredder The double-shaft shredder achieves material crushing through two counter-rotating knife shafts: the toothed blades arranged alternately on the shafts shear, tear, and squeeze the materials entering the chamber, ultimately breaking them down into uniform fragments. Compared to single-shaft models, the double-shaft design is driven by dual motors with dual reducers, delivering greater torque and shredding capacity. It can handle larger-sized or higher-hardness materials (such as hard drives, engineering plastics, automobile shells, etc.).
