A single-shaft shredder is a medium-to-low-speed, high-torque solid waste processing equipment centered around a single rotating shaft with cutting tools. Through a combination of cutting, tearing, and squeezing actions, it breaks down bulky or tough materials into uniformly sized small pieces.

Product Description
Single shaft shredder with push drawer is a robust, yet versatile size-reduction equipment capable of shredding a large range of material including plastic blocks and plates, different types of wood, paper, extruded polymer tubes, etc. A hydraulic drawer is pushing the material against the rotating tools holder which performs the pre-rupture and the grinding. In case of overloading, the rotor and the drawer automatically reverse the movement to release the material and avoid structural overloads. In the end the product is screened by a perforated grate to determine the final size of the ground material.
As our single-shaft shredders are often times placed in front of the most demanding jobs, the frame and structure of our shredders use high-thickness sheets and tubular. The square knives are treatment strengthened and use only the highest quality SKD11 steel (D2 equivalent) to ensure against dulling. The processing method is different due to the difference of raw material’s size , shape and physical characteristics.

Single shaft shredder can shred plastic lumps, barrels, pipes , wood, wood pallet, big block material, plastic container, plastic chair , plastic pallet, woven bags ,jumbo bags, cable etc.

In the end the product is screened by a perforated plate to determine the final size of the ground material.
Working Principle
Material Feeding: The materials enter the crushing chamber through the hopper and are pushed towards the high-speed rotating rotor shaft by a hydraulic pusher. Crushing Process: The moving blades on the knife shaft and the stationary blades generate a shearing force, which tears and cuts the materials. Materials that do not meet the required particle size are recirculated within the chamber for further crushing until they pass through the screen and are discharged.Safety Protection: The equipment is equipped with bearing seals (waterproof and dustproof), an overload automatic shutdown feature, and emergency stop buttons to ensure operational safety.

2. Single shaft shredder consists of a knife disc and a static knife to complete shredding material. Cutter is composed of a base shaft and several shape quadrilateral knife block. The knife block has 4 blades, can be replacing the use of. The knife block along the axis of the base is in multiple rows into type V, and fixed with screws in the radical axis, rotated with the based shaft together, finally comprise a knife disc. The two static knife is fixed on the machine frame. The material is sent to the cutter by the horizontal hydraulic cylinder. The speed is stable and adjustable, and the propulsive force is large and uniform. It is applicable to the recovery of a variety of bulk solid materials, refractory materials, irregular plastic containers and plastic barrels, tubes, films, fibers, paper etc. Spindle speed is 45 ~ 100 rpm/min.
