The solar panel deglassing machine is a specialized piece of equipment designed for the recycling and treatment of waste solar panels. Its core function is to separate the glass layer in solar panels from other materials (such as silicon wafers and metal frames), enabling the recycling of resources.

This equipment enables the separation of materials such as glass, silicon, and aluminum from solar panels, thereby not only reducing the volume of waste solar panels sent to landfills but also facilitating the regeneration and reuse of high-value resources like glass and metal frames.

Product Description

The Solar Panel Glass-Removing Machine is a specialized piece of equipment designed for the recycling and treatment of waste solar panels. Its core function is to separate the glass layer in solar panels from other materials (such as silicon wafers and metal frames), enabling the recycling of resources. According to the operational process, the equipment first needs to pre-treat solar panels from which the aluminum frames have been removed. Subsequently, heat is applied to soften the adhesive layer between the glass and the internal components. Finally, mechanical separation technology is used to break the glass into granular form and separate it out. The separated glass contains fewer impurities and can be further recycled and utilized.

Fully Automatic Deglassing Machine

Integrates a one-stop process including frame removal, heating, separation, and crushing. It is suitable for large-scale industrial recycling scenarios and features high processing efficiency and minimal manual intervention.

Semi-Automatic Deglassing Machine

Requires manual assistance for certain steps (such as frame removal or feeding). The equipment cost is relatively low, making it suitable for small to medium-sized recycling enterprises.

Working Principle

Electrostatic separator separate the waste materials on using the differences of conductive, in the combination of high-voltage corona electric field and high-voltage electrostatic electric field, and electric power and mechanical force. This equipment strengthens attraction on the conductor electrostatic and the repulsion on non-conductor. High frequency alternating strong magnetic field is generated on the surface of the  magnetic roller. When the non-ferrous metal with electrical conductivity passes through the magnetic field, the eddy current will be induced inside the non-ferrous metal. The eddy current itself will creat a magnetic field opposite to the direction of the original magnetic field, and non-ferrous metal(such as copper、aluminum,etc)will leap forword along direction of its transport for the repulsive of magnetic field and will be separated with other non-metallic materials. The main distinguishing criterion is of waste material conductivity and the ratio of density. The material with high ratio value is easier to separate than the material with low ratio.

Heating and Softening Technology

Achieves non-destructive separation of glass from silicon wafers by precisely controlling the temperature (usually reaching the softening temperature of the adhesive layer), thereby reducing material loss.

Physical Crushing and Sorting

Uses mechanical crushing to process the glass into granular form and combines specific gravity sorting or screening technology to remove impurities, ensuring the purity of the glass.

Automated Control System

The equipment is equipped with a PLC control system that can monitor the processing flow in real-time and support parameter adjustments to accommodate solar panels of different specifications.
