The workflow of a lithium battery recycling plant mainly includes the following steps:
Discharging: Discharging devices are installed in the workshop to release the charge from the used lithium batteries. The discharged batteries are then spread out to air dry naturally.
Disassembly:Used lithium batteries are disassembled using a combination of manual and mechanical methods. The battery casings, aluminum foil, copper sheets, etc., are separated according to their materials.
Crushing: The disassembled battery materials containing metals are crushed for subsequent processing. The crushing device is equipped with a dust removal system to prevent pollution.
Separation: The crushed battery material fragments and black powder are separated. Copper foil and aluminum foil, among other metals, are separated from the black powder, achieving a purity of 99.8%.

The lithium battery crushing and processing equipment used by the renewable energy company employs physical methods to separate and collect battery components. It utilizes a fully automated physical-mechanical recycling process, requiring no chemical reagents. It boasts high electrolyte recovery efficiency, excellent dust collection, and features green, low-carbon, environmentally friendly, energy-saving, and easily industrialized characteristics.
