What is the working principle of a waste tire recycling production line?

Working principle of a waste tire recycling production line: This production line, also known as a waste tire crushing and recycling production line or a waste tire rubber powder recycling production line, consists of a variety of heavy-duty equipment. It can automatically separate passenger car tires, truck tires, and engineering vehicle tires, and recover rubber, steel wire, and fiber materials from waste rubber products. According to the actual needs of customers, the rubber raw materials can be finely processed, such as dicing and crushing. This production line operates at room temperature without adding any chemical additives, and will not cause secondary pollution to the environment.

Supporting equipment for a waste tire recycling production line:

Mainly includes a twin-shaft crusher, a return system, a disc screen, a wire mesh screen, a vibrating screen, a separator, an iron remover, a cyclone separator, a pulse dust removal system, and an electrical control system.

Pre-crushing: The twin-shaft crusher features low speed and high torque, and can pre-crush waste tires into fragments of 50-300 mm without disassembling the rims.

Return system: The return system consists of a conveyor belt and a disc sorter. After being processed by the crusher, the fragments are conveyed to a disc sorter to select appropriately sized fragments, which are then sent to a wire separator for further processing. Fragments that are too large are returned to the crusher for reprocessing.

Secondary Crushing: The wire separator is equipped with a serrated rotating shaft, possessing powerful crushing capabilities to further crush tires and separate steel wires.

Wire Separator: After processing in the wire separator, the steel wires and tire rubber are completely separated. Then, the steel wires are further separated from the rubber by a transverse magnetic separator. High-strength magnetic adsorption and a wear-resistant conveyor belt ensure near-perfect separation of steel wires and rubber.

Twin-Shaft Crusher Crushing: The twin-shaft crusher employs a unique cutting roller design, which facilitates further crushing of tire rubber. The open design promotes machine cooling and reduces dust. The particle size of the rubber particles can be controlled by changing the screen.

Rubber Particle Size Sorting: A vibrating screen separates rubber particles of different sizes; larger rubber particles are sent back to the twin-shaft crusher for further crushing. Rubber granules of suitable size are screened by a vibrating screen, while larger granules are sent back to a twin-shaft crusher for further crushing. The remaining granules are then fed into a separator via another vibrating screen to separate some of the fibers.

Fiber Separation: The separator separates fibrous material into granules. A magnetic separator is installed below the separator to separate residual steel wires, ensuring the purity of the rubber granules. This system is connected to a pulse jet system for simultaneous dust removal during the sorting process.

Dust Collection System: A central dust collection system collects dust and fibers generated during the tire production line’s crushing process via pipelines.

Electrical Control Cabinet: The electrical control cabinet enables automated operation of the tire production line. A touchscreen interface facilitates programming, maintenance, and repair of the entire production line.
