One ton of waste electronic circuit boards contains 13% copper, 0.045% gold, and other metals such as iron, palladium, and lead. One ton of waste circuit boards can yield 400 grams of gold. One ton of mobile phone circuit boards can yield approximately 20 grams of platinum, 520-750 grams of gold, 60-80 grams of palladium, 1.0-1.5 kg of silver, and 120-130 kg of copper. This demonstrates that copper recovery is crucial in the recycling process of waste circuit boards.
Currently, circuit board recycling equipment is an excellent tool for separating waste PCBs, effectively separating metallic and non-metallic materials to extract copper.

Process Flow:
First, circuit boards contain many electronic components. An electronic component dismantling machine is used to remove these components from the waste circuit boards. These components can be resold, thus achieving resource recycling.
Circuit Board Recycling Plant
Then, the waste circuit boards are fed into a crusher for crushing, where metals and resins are mixed and crushed. To ensure thorough crushing of metal and resin powder, a rotary screen was installed in the crusher for secondary crushing of the initial material.
After ensuring complete crushing of the metal and resin powder, an airflow gravity separator from the circuit board recycling equipment was used for separation to obtain high-purity copper and resin powder.
The metal extracted from waste circuit boards can be further purified through electrolysis to obtain high-purity copper. Therefore, if you wish to profit from separating metals from waste circuit boards, it is recommended to first use a dry physical separation method to separate the metals from the non-metals. Since waste circuit boards contain a very high amount of copper, which has a high market value, you can sell the separated copper to metal processing plants or directly through the waste circuit board recycling equipment. The non-metallic glass fiber and resin powder can also be sold and used to manufacture additives and fillers, achieving low input, high output, and substantial profits.
